Glenn Kalick, D.V.M.
Nelly Jehn, D.V.M.
Dr. Nelly Amador Jehn attended Florida State University for her undergraduate degree. She received a D.V.M. degree from the University of Florida in 2005. Dr. Jehn loves the outdoors; hiking, running, mountain biking and the beach. She and her husband (also a Veterinarian) share their home with Luna, a Shepherd/Labrador mix, Blanca, a Labrador mix, Bella, a Labrador mix, Brad, a Boxer mix and their two cats named Nicolas Cage and Samuel Jackson (pictured at left). Dr. Jehn speaks Spanish, and has special interests in orthopedics, ophthalmology and dermatology.
Jessica Garcia, D.V.M.
Dr. Jessica Garcia is a native of Tampa. She moved to South Florida in 2009. She received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from University of Florida (Go GATORS!) After graduating from Kansas State University with a D.V.M., she returned to Florida to practice. Dr. Garcia enjoys scuba diving, swimming, fishing and boating. She also enjoys traveling with her husband and visiting her family in Tampa. Her furry children include: Odie a true Heinz 57 mutt, Maddie a black lab mix, and Cole a Russian Blue mix. Her veterinary interests include ophthalmology and internal medicine.
Donna Hekman, D.V.M.
Dr. Donna Hekman is a native of Ft. Lauderdale. After graduating from Calvin College with a degree in Biology, she attended the University of Florida and earned her DVM in 1995. She completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine in 1995-96, and has been practicing veterinary medicine in the Coconut Creek/Parkland area for the past 16 years. She enjoys hanging out with her guys - her husband and two boys - and her black lab Jenny. Her hobbies include Gator football, baking cool treats for her boys' class parties, sci-fi movies and TV shows, and running.
Amber Callaway, D.V.M.
Dr. Amber Callaway is a native to South Florida. She attended Florida Atlantic University and has a degree in Ecology and Organismic Biology. She then completed an animal husbandry internship at The Center For Great Apes before starting her Veterinary education. Dr. Callaway attended Ross University for her Veterinary degree and completed her clinical training at the University of Florida. She enjoys working with dogs and cats but also some exotic species. Dr. Callaway has three loving cats, two active dogs, one sweet lovebird and an adorable rabbit. She enjoys volunteering with wildlife and ecology organizations, decorating, and spending time with family and friends.
Brookside Animal Hospital is conveniently located on the Northwest corner
